Zanele Ngwepe is a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant who qualified in 2009. She holds a B.Com Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a B.Com (Honours) from the University of Natal. With over 15 years of experience in financial management, strategic oversight, and organizational leadership, Zanele has demonstrated her expertise across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.  

Zanele’s career highlights include serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Solidarity Response Fund, where she gained valuable experience in high-level financial operations and strategic decision-making. She has also been an integral member of executive committees for key organizations such as the CSIR, NERSA, and Graftech SA. Her extensive track record includes working closely with senior executives and boards, providing strategic financial leadership, and driving operational excellence in diverse and challenging environments.  

Currently, Zanele serves as the Interim CEO for the Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) Response Fund. In this role, she leverages her robust expertise to lead teams, manage multifaceted operations, and ensure the Fund achieves its critical mission.
